Court Approved the Asset Acquisition at Wabasca-Desmarais, Municipal District of Opportunity

Calgary, March 25, 2025 – Armada Nowlit, a technology company specializing in converting under-utilized energy sources to power data centers, is pleased to announce that the King’s Bench of Alberta has approved its acquisition of distressed natural gas assets. The assets are located in Wabasca-Desmarais, Municipal District of Opportunity and are expected to support the power supply of a 50MW data center.
This asset acquisition marks the start of the first deployment at-scale of Armada Nowlit’s proprietary, integrated data center plus power generation solution, after the success of previous proof-of-concept projects. As a pioneer in transforming underutilized resources into valuable opportunities, Armada Nowlit is looking to deploy and upgrade its  across the region in larger-scale projects.
